The Miami Meet: A Credit Card and a Bad Night
Marco first appeared on screen in March 2025, when Lucas Jones found a dropped credit card at a Miami bar. The attorney introduced himself, bought Lucas a drink, and listened patiently while Lucas — still reeling from yet another disappointment with ex-husband Brad Cooper — drank too much and rambled about his broken history.
Lucas kissed him. Then asked for his room key. Then woke up the next morning mortified, remembering nothing.
Marco told him the truth: nothing happened. Lucas was too drunk to consent, so Marco slept on the floor — after Lucas threw up on him. It was awkward, honest, and surprisingly decent. Lucas insisted on getting his number to pay for dry cleaning.
That was the beginning.
Port Charles: The Job, the Father, the Double Life
A few weeks later, Marco showed up in Port Charles to interview at Diane Miller’s law firm. He wanted to transition from corporate law to defense law. Diane was impressed. Alexis Davis was intrigued.
Then Sonny Corinthos revealed that Marco’s father was Jenz Sidwell — and suddenly the promising young attorney had a very different profile.
Diane and Alexis nearly pulled the offer. But Marco argued that he’d distanced himself from his father’s business the same way Alexis had separated from the Cassadines — and they kept him on.
What nobody knew: Marco was already living at Wyndemere, where his father was running a secret lab, holding prisoners beneath the estate, and finishing Cesar Faison’s final cold fusion project — with Britt Westbourne as a coerced researcher.
Natalia’s Dеаth: The Grudge Against Sonny
Marco had a strained relationship with his mother, Natalia Ramirez, who was caught between Sidwell’s world and her own survival. When Natalia planned to skip town rather than hand over evidence on Sonny to authorities, Marco tried to intervene — but was busy rescuing Kristina Davis from a fire at Charlie’s Pub when his mother ԁіеd from an accidental overdose.
Marco blamed Sonny. Completely. And he vowed to make him pay.
Sonny later had Marco kіԁnаppеd to use as leverage against Sidwell. Lucas received a mysterious key and address and managed to rescue his boyfriend. At the police station, Marco declined to accuse Sonny — lying that he’d “gotten lost on a hike.” Sidwell promised his son that Sonny would pay, but Marco complained he was taking too long.
Living with Lucas: Love, Lies, and the Wyndemere Secret
When Marco proposed that Lucas move into Wyndemere with him, Sidwell panicked. Having Lucas under the same roof could expose Britt’s forced research, the secret lab, and the prison cell hidden below the estate.
Lucas agreed to move in — cautiously — and Marco spent the next several weeks trying to hide his father’s operation from the man he loved. It was a losing battle. Lucas eventually overheard Marco telling Sidwell that they couldn’t let Carly visit and start snooping around.
Confronted, Marco confessed everything.
The Final Mission: Stealing Britt’s Meds
Lucas asked Marco to do something dangerous: steal vials of Britt’s Huntington’s disease medication from Sidwell’s safe so they could be reverse-engineered — freeing Britt from Sidwell’s control permanently.
Marco wanted to prove he was more than his father’s son. He said yes.
He got caught rooting around in the safe by Pascal, Sidwell’s enforcer. And when two vials later went missing, Pascal—and WSB Director Ross Cullum—immediately suspected Marco.
The Stabbing: Cullum’s Revenge

Cullum found him first. The WSB director stormed into the offices of Miller and Davis and brutally stаbbеd Marco before heading to the pier to intercept Britt.

Adrian Anchondo: The Actor Behind Marco
Adrian Anchondo, known for guest roles on NCIS: Los Angeles, The Rookie, and FBI: Most Wanted, brought Marco to life starting in March 2025. Despite a relatively short run, Anchondo built strong bonds with co-stars Van Hansis (Lucas), Carlo Rota (Sidwell), and Kelly Thiebaud (Britt).
In a recent exit interview, Anchondo revealed he knew Marco’s end was coming since late summer. “The narrative comes first,” he said. “I made a conscious effort not to take it personally.”
He also highlighted the significance of portraying a queer Latino character on daytime television — calling it one of the most meaningful roles of his career. Anchondo is currently auditioning for new projects, including an HBO callback, and is in a relationship with Days of Our Lives actor Colton Little.
