She’s Back.
Sofia Mattsson just posted a photo from Los Angeles with the caption: “Soaking up the LA sunshine.”
For General Hospital fans, that’s not a vacation update. That could be a casting signal — and GH Blog is already speculating that it means Sasha Corbin may be heading back to Port Charles.
Nothing has been confirmed by ABC or GH’s production team. But the clues are hard to ignore.
From Stockholm to Port Charles
The last time we saw Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) on General Hospital, she was leaving Port Charles with baby Daisy. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) personally delivered them to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to ensure their safety.
That was July 2025. Mattsson left for Stockholm, Sweden, and told fans she was “taking a break for now” with hopes to return.
Then in August, Tristan Rogers passed away. General Hospital has indicated plans to honor Robert Scorpio’s death on screen with a proper tribute — and that tribute could be the reason Sasha comes home.
If GH is addressing Robert’s passing on screen, it would make sense for his on-screen daughter to be part of that story.
Robert’s Death Brings Her Back
According to GH Blog, rumors hint that Mattsson could return specifically when Port Charles learns of Robert Scorpio’s death. Sasha was living with Robert — he was her protector, her father figure, her safe harbor after everything she went through.
His death would not only give Sasha a reason to return to Port Charles but force her to confront everything she left behind: Michael, Willow, the Quartermaines, and whatever happened in her absence.
GH comings and goings reports haven’t officially confirmed the return. Mattsson being in LA is a strong signal, but it’s not proof — actors travel for many reasons.
Michael and Sasha — A Reunion?
GHTea published a poll this week asking fans: “Will Michael and Sasha Reconcile?”
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is currently entangled with Jacinda — whose ex-boyfriend is about to show up and cause problems. If that relationship implodes around the same time Sasha hypothetically returns, the timing would be hard to call coincidental.
Meanwhile, SoapNews reports that Sofia Mattsson surprised fans with a “gorgeous hair change” — the kind of makeover that sometimes signals a character’s fresh start. Or it could just be a personal choice.
What “Unfinished Business” Means
GH Blog’s headline uses a very specific phrase: Sasha has “unfinished business in Port Charles.”
If she does return, that business could involve:
- Robert’s estate — Sasha may inherit his WSB connections
- Michael — The love story GH never finished
- Willow — The woman who took her life and turned it political
- Baby Daisy — Does she bring her daughter back to PC?
None of this is confirmed. But Sofia Mattsson is in LA. GH is planning a Robert Scorpio tribute. And the fan base is louder than ever about wanting Sasha back.
If it happens, Port Charles won’t be the same. And if it doesn’t — fans will be watching every Instagram post until it does.
