Lucas Risking It All to Avenge Marco — But Pascal’s Vicious Outburst Proves How Unprepared He Really Is

Lucas vows to avenge Marco on General Hospital

There is a massive difference between wanting justice and surviving a war. And on General Hospital, Lucas is about to find out exactly how out of his depth he truly is.

Grief can make people do incredibly reckless things. For Lucas, the pain of losing Marco Rios has been compounded by a sickening revelation: he literally saved the life of the man who murdered his boyfriend. As Marco took his last breath, Lucas was in surgery keeping Cullum alive.

The guilt is crushing him. And that guilt has transformed into an obsession to bring down the men responsible — Cullum, and the man who employed him, Jenz Sidwell. But stepping into Sidwell’s world might be the last mistake Lucas ever makes.

In a bold — and incredibly dangerous — move, Lucas has accepted Sidwell’s invitation to stay at Wyndemere. The premise is simple: two grieving men leaning on each other after the loss of Marco. But Lucas’s real agenda is far more sinister.

This is a classic “keep your enemies closer” strategy. Lucas wants to gather evidence to destroy Sidwell and Cullum from the inside. But as Van Hansis recently teased in an exclusive interview, Lucas’s one-track mind might be blinding him to the immediate dangers surrounding him.

“I think it becomes pretty clear to him pretty soon that he is in danger,” Hansis shared. “But I also feel like he’s not going to stop. There is no backing down from getting Marco the justice he deserves.”

But while Lucas is focused on the kings of the chessboard, he’s completely ignoring the pawns. And one of them just snapped.

Pascal’s Violent Outburst

The danger inside Wyndemere isn’t just coming from Sidwell. It’s coming from Marco’s loyalists. In Thursday’s intense episode, Pascal (the volatile Wyndemere butler) finally lashed out.

Catching Lucas sneaking around the castle, an unhinged and grieving Pascal didn’t hold back. He openly blamed Lucas for Marco’s passing, accusing him of using Marco and causing the fatal chain of events. Pascal’s rage boiled over into a terrifying declaration: Lucas is the one who should be gone instead.

This outburst highlights a fatal flaw in Lucas’s plan. He assumes he represents “the good guys” avenging Marco. But to Sidwell’s inner circle, Lucas is a suspicious outsider whose involvement got the boss’s son eliminated. To them, Lucas isn’t Marco’s grieving partner — he’s a liability.

Who Will Break First?

Lucas is playing a deadly game of espionage in a house full of professional criminals. Sidwell has already proven he will not hesitate to target his enemies. If Sidwell or Cullum even suspect that Lucas is digging for evidence, they won’t simply fire him. They will eliminate him.

Furthermore, Lucas’s ongoing panic attacks — brought on by the suffocating trauma of operating on Cullum — make him incredibly vulnerable. He is terrified, grieving, and operating purely on adrenaline and guilt. How long can he maintain his cover under the same roof as a volatile butler who openly wishes him gone, and a ruthless father mourning his murdered son?

Lucas wants justice for Marco. But if he isn’t careful, he might just end up joining him.
