Love Island: All Stars was rocked by a dramatic recoupling in Wednesday’s show, with Belle Hassan furious over being snubbed by Carrington Rodriguez.
While the islanders are meant to be in the villa with the hope of finding their dream partner, in recent days viewers have seen Belle fixated on her failed connection with Sean Stone, after he ditched her for Lucinda Strafford.
The latest recoupling saw all of the US islanders choosing first, before the boys were asked which of the remaining girls they’d couple up with.
This brought up some surprise pairings, including Sher Suarez stealing Scott van-der-Sluis, to Leanne Amaning’s fury.
Yamen Sanders chose Whitney Adebayo, Kyra Lizama opted to couple up with Curtis Pritchard, Imani Ayan Wheeler chose Konnor Ewudzi, and Zac Woodworth was paired up with Millie Court.
When it came to Carrington’s decision, despite sharing some chats with Belle, he opted to pick Helena Ford, after they spent the night together in the Hideaway.

Viewers were quick to spot Belle’s furious reaction to the coupling, with some noting on X that she ‘couldn’t be surprised,’ after she spent the past three days ‘being upset with Sean.’
Belle had made her anger known after Sean opted to pursue a connection with Lucinda, and even hours before the recoupling took place, she told him: ‘You do what’s right for you ’cause that’s what you’ll always do…I literally don’t care about what’s coming out of your mouth.’

Belle then struggled to hide her bitter reaction as Sean coupled up with Lucinda, and as a consolation, she was chosen by Jack Keating.
Rounding out the pairs were Ciaran Davies coupling up with Samie Elishi, before Tommy Bradley paired up with Leanne.
Elsewhere, viewers accused producers of setting up conversations between Belle, Sean and his new love Lucinda.
After locking horns repeatedly, the love triangle sat down to air out their grievances on Wednesday’s episode.
Lucinda told her: ‘I’m really sorry, I do feel dreadful… you deserve better than him [Sean] anyway’.
Belle replied, referring to her kiss with Sean during the Spin The Bottle game: ‘I think you do as well to be honest… what he did in that challenge wasn’t fair on you or me.’
‘I pray you don’t get hurt,’ Belle continued.
Later, when Sean pulled Belle for a chat to try to clear the air and admitted he ‘hasn’t been very nice’ to his former partner, Belle added: ‘You do what’s right for you, because that’s what you’ll always do.

Viewers took to X after watching the scenes to share their thoughts and said they found the storyline ‘boring’ now.
