Since Ryan Paevey’s highly anticipated return to General Hospital last September, something involving Nathan West just hasn’t felt right. Paevey teased a “meaty storyline” upon his comeback, and the dramatic March 31 episode finally delivered exactly what fans have been furiously waiting for!
The Wyndemere Confrontation
The explosive reveal occurred when “Nathan” arrived at Wyndemere to offer his condolences to a furious Jenz Sidwell following the shocking, heartbreaking loss of his beloved son, Marco. However, grief wasn’t the only thing on Sidwell’s mind.
Sidwell immediately instructed Nathan to ensure Sonny Corinthos faced severe consequences for Marco’s ordeal, using any means necessary. When Nathan boldly expressed intense hesitation about crossing that dangerous line, Sidwell swiftly shut his study door and forcefully dropped an absolutely massive truth.
“I’m Talking to Cassius Faison”
In a chilling moment, Sidwell threatened, “That is not something that Detective Nathan West would do. But I’m not talking to Nathan West… I’m talking to Cassius Faison.” Just like that, the jaw-dropping truth was completely exposed! Paevey hasn’t been portraying Nathan West; he is actually playing his previously unknown twin brother, Cassius!
The Clever Clues Along the Way
Looking back, the brilliant writers cleverly and strategically planted multiple clues that Cassius was an imposter. He incredibly easily allowed Maxie to reunite with Spinelli without putting up a fight. He suddenly sparked a romance with Lulu, was surprisingly terrible at baseball, and completely bungled a major PCPD investigation that immediately caught Dante’s suspicious eye.
The most massive clue, however, subtly came from Britt. In a recent conversation with Josslyn, Britt casually mentioned that all she had left of her father, Cesar Faison, was his brain in a jar, her Huntington’s, and “four kids.” Fans already powerfully knew about Peter, Britt, and Nathan… but now the mysterious fourth child has been spectacularly unmasked!
With Cassius deeply embedded in the PCPD and tightly connected to Port Charles’ most dangerous elements, the massive fallout from this imposter reveal is going to absolutely rock the town to its core!
