Will Josslyn Take Down Cullum to Save Jason? Her WSB Training May Have Prepared Her for Exactly This
Josslyn Jacks joined the WSB as a trainee. She may leave it as a killer.

A growing theory circulating among GH fans suggests that the climax of Jason Morgan’s exit storyline won’t come from Sonny, Carly, or even Britt. It’ll come from the person nobody expected: Joss.
And if the theory is right, it could be the most shocking exit in General Hospital history — for two characters at once.
The Setup Is Already in Place
Here’s what we know:
- Jason and Britt are planning to flee Port Charles. They need to wait for Lucas to get Britt’s medication, then they’re gone.
- Jason has vowed to “eliminate” Sidwell on his way out of town.
- WSB Director Ross Cullum has been pulling strings behind the scenes — controlling Britt’s medication, possibly arranging Nathan’s return, and running Faison’s final project.
- Eden McCoy (Joss) has been confirmed leaving the show.
Put those pieces together and the picture becomes clear: Cullum will intercept Jason and Britt’s escape. And Joss — trained by the WSB, armed with classified knowledge — will intervene.

Joss Has Already Gone Dark
Fans have noticed that Josslyn isn’t the same person she was a year ago. The WSB changed her. She’s harder. More calculating. More willing to operate in gray areas.
She defied Carly. She kept secrets from her family. She’s been operating in a world of espionage and betrayal — and she’s been good at it.
If Jason gets taken by Cullum — and multiple spoilers point toward an abduction plot — Joss would have both the motivation and the capability to mount a rescue.
She knows how Cullum operates. She has WSB access. And she’s Carly’s daughter — protecting family isn’t just instinct, it’s religion.
The Theory: Joss Kills Cullum
The theory gaining traction: Joss tracks down Cullum after he takes Jason. There’s a confrontation. And Joss — in a moment of desperation — kills Cullum to save Jason’s life.

It would be the defining moment of her character. The girl who grew up watching her mother protect people at all costs finally does the same thing — but goes further than Carly ever did.
It would also be a perfect exit storyline for Eden McCoy. Joss can’t stay in Port Charles after killing a WSB director. She’d have to go into hiding, leave the country, or face federal charges. Either way, she leaves — but on the most dramatic note possible.
The Fallout
If Joss kills Cullum, the consequences ripple across every storyline:
- Carly would be devastated — she got Joss into the WSB orbit, and now her daughter has blood on her hands
- Brennan would lose his boss and possibly his protection — opening him up to prosecution
- Faison’s Final Project would lose its architect — but would the project continue without Cullum?
- Nathan’s secret would be at risk — if Cullum arranged Nathan’s DNA evidence, his removal could unravel the cover-up
- Jason would be free — but at the cost of Joss’s innocence
Joss Could Also Be Hurt
There’s another possibility. The confrontation with Cullum might not go cleanly. Joss could be injured — seriously — in the process of saving Jason.
That would give Carly the gut-wrenching scene she’s been building toward all season: seeing her daughter hurt because of the world Carly couldn’t pull her out of. It would give Jason his guilt. And it would give Eden McCoy a powerful farewell arc.
Whether Joss walks away or is carried out, one thing seems clear: she’s going to be at the center of Jason’s exit — and Cullum’s downfall.
