Cullum Stabbed Marco, Crushed Britt’s Meds, and Got Shot by a Teenager — General Hospital Just Changed Everything

GH Recap March 23: Jason and Rocco aftermath at pier after Cullum shooting

General Hospital just delivered the most explosive hour of 2026 — and nothing will be the same in Port Charles after this. The March 23 episode packed a stabbing, a destroyed medication supply, a fistfight on the pier, a gunshot from the last person anyone expected, and a teenager who just became the most dangerous witness in town.

If you blinked, you missed something that will haunt these characters for months.

Cullum Walked Into That Office With a Knife

Ross Cullum didn’t come to talk. He walked into Alexis and Diane’s law office, found Marco Rios inside, and stabbed him in the chest. Then he watched Marco fall. He cleaned the blade. He picked up Marco’s phone, read the text from Lucas saying he was meeting Britt at Pier 55, stepped over Marco’s body, turned off the lights, and walked out.

He left Marco alone in the dark. Gasping. Bleeding. Trying to reach his phone and failing.

And the most devastating detail? Alexis was right outside that door. She and Danny came to the office because Alexis wanted to research the WSB’s jurisdiction. She was one sentence away from opening the door and finding Marco in time. But Danny convinced her to go to the police station instead. They left. Marco is still in there.

He Crushed Britt’s Medication Under His Shoe

Cullum wasn’t done. After leaving Marco to bleed out, he tracked Britt to Pier 55 using the text he’d read on Marco’s phone. When he found her, he destroyed the two vials of Huntington’s medication — the same vials Marco had risked everything to steal from Sidwell’s safe. He crushed them under his shoe.

Then he knocked Britt unconscious and was about to shoot her when Jason arrived.

Let that sink in. Marco stole those vials to save Britt. He chose Lucas. He chose doing the right thing. And every bit of that sacrifice was ground into the concrete of Pier 55 in seconds.

Jason Fought Cullum — But It Was Rocco Who Pulled the Trigger

Jason headbutted Dante to escape the WSB warrant, ran to the pier, and tackled Cullum just before he could shoot Britt. The fight was brutal — reminiscent of Jason’s 2012 fall into the harbor when he was first presumed ԁеаԁ.

When Cullum lost his grip on the gun, it slid across the pier. Both men went to punches. Cullum grabbed his baton and was about to deliver what looked like a fatal blow to Jason.

That’s when Rocco Falconeri pulled the trigger.

The teenager had been hiding on the pier, overhearing everything. He picked up Cullum’s gun. And with the aim of someone far beyond his years, Rocco put a bullet through Cullum’s back.

Danny Saw Everything — The Wrong Everything

Before the pier chaos, Danny was at the gymnasium watching Jason headbutt Dante and run. He saw his father assault a police officer — his own stepfather — and flee. Jason had promised to be at Danny’s basketball game. He’d promised to stay. And instead, Danny watched him choose violence and disappear.

Jason didn’t just fail to show up. He let Danny see the worst version of him on the way out.

What Comes Next Will Be Even Worse

Spoilers for March 24 reveal that the aftermath is just beginning:

  • Cullum is rushed to GH’s trauma room. Elizabeth and Isaiah bring him in. And in the cruelest twist of the day — Lucas is the doctor desperately trying to save Cullum’s life. He doesn’t know that the man on his table just stabbed his boyfriend and left him to ԁіе in the dark.
  • Nathan arrives at the pier and helps Jason protect Rocco from the consequences. Both Jason and Britt will encourage Rocco not to call Dante.
  • Alexis will open her office door — and make the gruesome discovery that fans have been dreading.

Port Charles will never be the same after this hour. A teenager just shot a WSB director. A man is bleeding out alone in an office. And the doctor trying to save the villain doesn’t know the villain just destroyed everything he loves.

This is General Hospital firing on all cylinders. And the week is just getting started.
